Buzzers and Barfing

We found out or were reminded today of things that Wesley does not like. For dinner he tried Turkey and rice dinner. He had a couple of bites accompanied by pears and instead of spitting them back out at us and refusing them he decides to barf them up and act like he is choking. Wesley is getting to be a pro at this lately. We are now on our third cold of the season and this one is also going on week 2. When he gets a lot of congestion he just throws it up. My carpet loves it. Tonight we decided to try taking Wesley to a basketball game. We tried before taking him to a high school game, but this was a church league basketball game so we thought that since it was on a smaller scale it would be different. No so much. He screamed and screamed and screamed. We had to leave we could not calm him down at all. I hate those buzzers. Why are they so loud?
We are doing great. We are loving it here. Our house is coming together. I need to post some pictures. We are slowly making friends our age and trying to get involved some outside of YL activities. I am starting MOPS this week and am still doing Musikgarten. Wesley is doing great. He has really made progress with his therapies and his delays right now are minor. We are so thankful for that and praying that they stay minor. Everyone is so impressed at how well he is doing. We do have to work with him everyday doing different exercises and helping him reach his next goals. I am going to start trying him on some formula and so far he does not like it so much. Any ideas on that or what worked for you?

Wesley can Roll over!!!

This is kind of old news to some, but on December 17th Wesley rolled over for the first time from his back to his belly. That is right , from his back to his belly. He loves doing it and I finally got it on camera for all of you to enjoy. He is so fun right now and we are enjoying every minute with him.

Happy New Year!

Wesley's Christmas tree

What a year 2009 was! It was probably the most life changing year either of us has experienced and one of the greatest. We are so thankful of how God has taken care of us and provided for us. We would not change a thing. Looking forward to 2010. We wouldn't mind a boring year!

A trip to Great Grandma's House

Wesley and Great Grandma Janet
Playing together

Pappy, Nana, Wesley, Aunt Connie, & Uncle Chris

4 Generations

On Saturday the day after Christmas we took a ride to Appomattoxx, VA to celebrate Christmas with Greg's grandmother Janet and that whole side of the family. I think we counted that there were 28 people all together. Wesley got to meet many great aunts and second cousins for the first time. It is always a fun trip to his grandmother's house. We were excited for Wesley's first trip there. Greg has lots of fun memories playing at that house as a kid and we know Wesley will as well. Aunt Connie & Uncle Chris stopped by to say hey as well and that was a fun treat to see them.

Jason too!

Mimi & Pawpaw with Wesley & Miller

Since all the grandchildren were together again we tried to get another picture. We promised the older kids M&M's and then the fun times began. There were a couple good shots. Last time we took this picture Wesley was less than half the size of his cousin Miller and by the picture you can see that he has already caught up. Fun times!

Wesley was again spoiled with love and gifts. He recieved a lot of fun toys and a BIG BOY Carseat. He has almost outgrown his infant carrier. We have about 2 pounds to go, it is kind of sad.

Lots of fun presents but most of all good time together. Wesley woke up about 6:45 on Christmas morning and the fun began.
